India is crazy over a Maruti 800 car for the last two days. The nation has an obsession with this ‘special car’ soon after the ‘God of Cricket’, Sachin Tendulkar, urged his fans to help in getting back his old Maruti 800. Sachin disclosed his first car in a television show, ‘In the Spotlight’ and he revealed that it was the first car he bought with the money earned as a professional cricketer.

Sachin Tendulkar, who owns a variety of super-luxury cars, sought the help of his fans to find out his first car. He said that he loves to have it back again. The master blaster has explained how he developed a passion for the motor cars in the show. “There was a massive open drive-in movie hall near my house where people watch movies sitting on their car. So I along with my brother used to stand on our balcony for hours to watch the cars”, he said.

Sachin bought his first car in the year 1989. The Maruti 800 was the most popular car in India at that time. They have launched the car in 1984 and soon become the most popular car in the country.
