Congress leader and Parliament member from Thiruvananthapuram, Sashi Tharoor has revealed his ambitions in Kerala politics. In a show, hosted by a Malayalam news channel, he expressed his interest in becoming the Kerala Chief Minister. “I am ready to become Kerala Chief Minister, the people have to make the decision”, he said.

The former diplomat clarified his interest in the Chief Minister post saying that the position has the responsibility to sort out various issues affecting the state. He added that he would take a decision on contesting for the working committee of the All India Congress Committee within two weeks. There are party workers who extended support openly and secretly while contesting for the Presidentship and Tharoor would consider their opinion on contesting yet another party election.
