FreshToHome, the world’s largest fresh fish and meat e-tailer, is launching its first-ever major recruitment and skilling drive for its global business operations. The Malayali-helmed company is looking to recruit and train at least 30 bright and enthusiastic engineering candidates at the mega job fair and deploy them in their global operations. There will be openings for both fresh graduates and experienced hands.

FreshToHome understands the massive skill gap that has been preventing engineering students from Kerala from getting recruited by global giants and is launching this new project under the leadership of Jayesh Jose, Chief Technical Officer and co-founder of FreshToHome.

“Technology has penetrated every facet of the world of business today. Our young generation must equip themselves with cutting-edge skills to meet the demands of tomorrow. After the training at FreshToHome, these 30 candidates will be assets any company anywhere around the world would vie for,” he said.

The recruits who will be selected are trained by a team of experts from Bangalore for six months. They will be deployed for operations in the different departments of the company according to their skills and aptitude.

“These recruits have a galaxy of opportunities before them,” said Vijith Sivadasan, Director of Engineering-Middle East. “We need technical talent in countries where we are expanding to. We will be actively looking at the pool of new recruits for this,” he added.

This will be the first time the company is recruiting from Reboot’22 and views it as an opportunity to embark upon a long association to contribute to the economic and social fabric of Kerala.

Shaan Kadavail, Chief Executive Officer, who founded the company with Mathew Joseph in 2015, said that he was glad that the new recruits were being chosen and trained under the guidance of a global leader like Jayesh, who has worked in numerous countries and companies around the world.
