Gokulam Kerala FC will play its home matches at EMS Corporation Stadium in Kozhikode from January 20th onwards. Gokulam will play Real Kashmir FC on January 20th in its next home match.

Until now Gokulam Kerala FC were playing home matches at Manjeri Payyanad Stadium. Gokulam has played six matches at Manjeri. The Malabarians have won four matches, drawn one, and lost one at Manjeri. Gokulam is in the fifth position with 18 points from 11 matches. Gokulam has five matches in Kozhikode and will play another six away matches in the I League campaign.

After a slow start, Gokulam hired Spanish coach Francesc Bonet as the head coach. They have also signed Spanish players Sergio Mendy and Omar Ramos to bolster their attack. GKFC signed strikers Joby Justin and Kyrgyzstan striker Eldar Moldozhunusov. Gokulam Kerala FC has strengthened its attacking position with two key signings – Kerala striker Joby Justin and a foreigner Eldar Moldozhunusov from Kyrgyzstan.

Starting his career for KSEB, Joby Justin went on to play for East Bengal FC, ATK, and Chennaiyin FC. He came into prominence while playing for East Bengal FC in his first stint with the club a few seasons ago. He scored 9 goals in 17 matches and was one of the top scorers of I League 2018-19. This season he has already made 5 appearances in the ISL for the Chennaiyin FC team. He was called up to the Indian team in 2019. He has made 3 appearances for the national team in the Intercontinental Cup. Joby is from Thiruvananthapuram.

Eldar Moldozhunusov is a Kyrgyzstan striker, who has scored 28 goals in 73 matches in the Kyrgyz Premier League. He has played for Neftchi Kochkor-Ata in the Kyrgyz top league. He will replace midfielder Juan Nellar.
